Job Description

The individual will be responsible for managing customer accounts ensuring that we provide the highest level of customer service and attentiveness to our customers. The individual will interact with Covered Entities, Pharmacies, Gateway Providers, and others. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task managing multiple projects at once while serving as the subject matter experts for the covered entities and pharmacies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Help with entity set-up & configuration needs
  • Take customer calls and help with answering questions, training, and troubleshooting
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies within the customers use of the application
  • Test application, conduct data analysis, and provide feedback.
  • Provide feedback on product development and improvements that will add value to our applications
  • Stay up to date with all 340B guidelines
  • Performing other duties as assigned

340B Data Business Analyst

Develop and analyze compliance and purchase record reports to ensure compliance with 340B program regulations, policies and procedures.

Role Expectations

Assist with the supply chain function for PharmaForce’s Third Party Administration(TPA) of our customer’s 340B Programs.

  • Coordinate the request and monitor vendor invoices including direct purchases.
  • Address issue associated with medications and/or products.
  • Utilize reports to monitor data quality.
  • Create queries to address immediate needs.
  • Work with vendors, supply chain, operations and finance to problem-solve discrepancies.

  • Provide data analysis for the 340B program as required in support of PharmaForce’s Third Party Administration Services’(TPA). Identify, analyze and provide ongoing reporting of volume, profitability, pricing, and other metrics to ensure compliance with 340B program regulations and policies and procedures.
  • Analyze 340B pricing trends and the economic impact of new legislation, and forecast drug expenditures and savings.
  • Utilize analytical methods and create data modeling applications to assess patient eligibility, create forecasts, assess current performance, identify improvement opportunities, test effects of change, and monitor progress
  • Ensure integrity of 340B related data, such as inventory management and dispensing.
  • Coordinate analysis efforts with others to assure consistency of assumptions, understanding implications of initiatives.
  • Make recommendations for future study and action
  • Demonstrate a consistent sense of urgency and follow-up on issues to ensure resolution
  • Maintain high level of customer support through teamwork and communication
  • Collaborate with billing and other departments to monitor changes that could affect 340B qualification, such as change in the points of service position on the cost report and any variations or negative trends. 
  • Ensure each 340B prescription is accounted for and those not dispensed are documented.
  • Create and maintain reports to ensure accurate Medicaid billing under the 340B program.
  • Utilize appropriate resources to locate solutions.
  • Escalate problems and issues as appropriate.

  • Report on findings in user-friendly formats to promote 340B compliance.
  • In collaboration with others, analyze findings and present final reports.
  • Support standardization of user-friendly format for deliverables.  Include math checking, tying to other reports where possible, and checking analysis for reasonableness.
  • Establish processes for ongoing data extractions (existing data), and develop the framework for data collection (new data).
  • Utilize and improve access to existing sources of data for the purposes of coordinating and optimizing data resources.
  • Provide data in appropriate formats, such as dashboards or presentations, to facilitate auditing and decision-making. 

  • Develop an understanding of the pharmacy industry and 340B program.
  • Partnering with others to assure compliance, and improve overall efficiency and profitability.
  • Use that knowledge to identify ways and make recommendations to improve the 340B program

340B Operations Program Manager

Provide operational accountability, management, and process development for PharmaForce’s Third Party Administration of 340B programs. Ensure optimal operational performance in compliance with legal, regulatory, and financial standards. Perform ongoing analysis and audits of the program and data validation to ensure accurate and optimal performance. Manage drug manufacturing accounts and ensure proper inventory flow related to the program. Manage staff related to the program and coordinate operational efforts from supporting departments. Participate in development and roll out of Specialty Pharmacy network.

Core Competencies

  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes that effectively manage the program and provide quality assurance.

  • Provide verification to pricing to ensure accuracy and proper follow-up if errors are found.

  • Primary contact with pharmaceutical manufacturers for purchasing contract review and negotiation related to 340B product purchase and distribution.

Minimum Qualifications to fulfill position responsibilities.

  • Minimum Education
    Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field and/or equivalent relevant experience. BS Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Preferred Education
    Advance degree.Masters degree

  • Minimum Experience
    Five years experience in product management, program management and/or business development that demonstrates ability to develop relationships and accomplish goals with external partners/vendors . Three years progressive 340B experience. One year previous management experience.

Sales Executive

Sales Executive Specific duties include:

  • Establishing short and long term sales goals that support company objectives.
  • Selling products & services to new and/or current customers to achieve or exceed assigned quotas.
  • Contacting prospective customers to determine product needs and performing sales presentations to match company's products and identified needs.
  • Prospecting and developing business, and developing proposals for presentation to customers.
  • Coordinating account resources with representatives from marketing, pre-sales engineering, and development.
  • Providing follow-up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with products provided.
  • Maintaining a 90-day rolling forecast.
