Position Overview

The 340B Program Leader is responsible for partnering with covered entities to optimize the financial performance, compliance integrity, and audit readiness of their 340B programs. This role focuses on driving operational efficiency to help organizations stretch scarce resources while remaining agile in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. The leader will leverage PharmaForce tools and solutions to deliver measurable value for customers, while serving as a critical bridge between customers and internal teams to drive continuous innovation. This role will bring frontline insights and market learnings back into the organization to help inform product strategy, enhance customer success and account management thought leadership, and advance the evolution of our solutions and services through close collaboration with product and cross-functional teams. 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership & Advisory
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to covered entities, guiding them in maximizing the value of their 340B programs.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across pharmacy, compliance, finance, and executive leadership.

Financial Optimization
  • Identify opportunities to improve program savings, reduce leakage, and enhance overall financial performance.
  • Utilize PharmaForce analytics and tools to provide actionable insights and measurable outcomes.

Compliance & Audit Readiness
  • Ensure adherence to all 340B regulatory requirements and support entities in maintaining audit-ready programs.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and proactively guide customers through evolving compliance expectations.

Operational Excellence
  • Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of 340B operations.
  • Implement best practices to streamline workflows and reduce administrative burden.

Regulatory Agility
  • Monitor the changing 340B landscape and help customers remain nimble and responsive to policy updates.
  • Translate complex regulatory developments into clear, actionable guidance.

Technology Enablement
  • Champion the use of PharmaForce tools to enhance visibility, control, and performance across the 340B program.
  • Train and support customers in effectively leveraging technology solutions.

Voice of the Customer
  • Act as a bi-directional conduit between customers and internal product teams.
  • Gather customer feedback, identify unmet needs, and influence product innovation to ensure cutting-edge solutions.
  • Advocate for enhancements that improve usability, functionality, and customer outcomes

Operational Excellence Deliverables 

  • Comprehensive operational assessments to identify gaps in split-billing accuracy, referral capture, contract pharmacy management, in addition to opportunities related to strategic initiatives
  • Quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with executive summaries showing performance, ROI, and recommendations
  • Customized 340B optimization roadmaps with phased plans, timelines, and success criteria
  • Monthly performance dashboards tracking savings, compliance status, and operational efficiency
  • Success plans with measurable milestones and accountability metrics
  • Ad-hoc analysis for regulatory changes, audits, or operational challenges

Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of the 340B program, including regulatory requirements and operational practices
  • Experience working with covered entities, 5 years or more (e.g., hospitals, health systems, FQHCs)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on financial and operational performance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and deliver consultative value
  • Familiarity with 340B technology platforms and data analytics tools preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear guidance
  • Adaptability and proactive mindset in a dynamic regulatory environment
