About the role…

Reporting to the Sr. Product Manager, the Product Specialist will drive the development of current and future product offerings. The product Specialist is responsible for understanding customer problems and turning them into prioritized requirements to drive innovative solutions to customer and market challenges. The product Specialist position is responsible for the overall success of product features as well as coordinating the cross-functional activities involved in product development, release, and customer success. An ideal candidate will have experience building and managing digital products within the healthcare space.

What You’ll Be Doing…

  • Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to create buy-in, educate, respond to business needs, and prioritize new features and capabilities.
  • Work with subject matter experts across the organization to understand business challenges, current capabilities and develop a robust product roadmap that anticipates business needs for new capabilities.
  • Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.
  • Analyze customer data, including usability research findings, customer feedback and analytics data to better understand user audience and develop product.
  • Complete ad-hoc assignments that assist in development and implementation of strategies and new processes.
  • Constantly strive to improve assigned product area and recommend improvements to processes and measures based on experiences.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of processes and technology, enabling a cross-functional perspective on product/process opportunities.
  • Would assist in all business/technical activities for Split-Billing, Contract Pharmacy, and Home Infusion applications
  • Collaborate with the technical team to review development progress, demos, and ensuring ongoing progress of development work.
  • Test new features in our testing environments and in our Production environments
  • Review/Collaborate with bug teams and sprint teams.
  • Coordinate/Write release notes and send to clients.
  • Train Account Specialists and other stakeholders on new features/enhancements
  • Work with sales team for sales demos and presentations.
  • Send all application emails- application down, slow, under maintenance, etc.…
  • Train new employees on the application- give deep dive trainings for new AMs and Pharmacy AMs
  • Lead user groups on best practice/best ways to optimize PharmaForce with our current employees-
  • Educate technical team on the 340B program.

What You’ll Need To Have:

  • 2+ years of product management experience
  • 1+ years of 340B experience as a 340B Specialist
  • Experience in leading and managing a business development/strategic team of varying experience levels.
  • Experience with the 340B program
  • Strong technical background and knowledge
