Position Overview

The Implementation Project Manager will be responsible to perform a lead role in managing the Implementation of PharmaForce Split Billing and Contract Pharmacy products and services. The Implementation Project Manager will build long-term relationships with hospital and pharmacy clients and manage the contractual and financial responsibilities of project management for our customers. The Implementation Project Manager must maintain complete control of the project schedule, budget, and risk issues. Provide management with regular project updates, maintain trusting relationships, identify project risks early and provides timely recommendations for risk avoidance

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and adoption of project management tools and practices within our division.
  • Collect data elements to identify opportunities for improvement, and measure success initiatives.
  • Ability to project manage customer engagements that are typically reserved for large, complex, and/or strategic customers.
  • Manage project timeline, scope, resources, and revenue forecasting according to the workplan and contractual commitments.
  • Proactively manage project risks/issues and facilitate challenging conversations with customer/leadership.
  • Gather information needed for business initiative definition and requirements.
  • Serve as operational point of contact for various projects to drive project execution.
  • Document and communicate project status and changes in the project scope, record contingency plans for risk/issues, ensure accurate and secure management of project artifacts.
  • Delivery of customer risk reviews to internal leadership.
  • Knowledge in project management methodology, tools, and practices.
  • Work across functionally with multiple teams and time zones.
  • Extended hours in front of a computer and using face to face video technology.
  • Proficiency with workflow concepts relating to the practice and operation of a hospital and/or retail pharmacy.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing large-scale, enterprise-level projects, preferably in a healthcare, pharmacy, or related industry.
  • Hand-on experience leading systems and/or technology implementation projects.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams and processes.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex projects from initiation through to completion, with clear evidence of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Proficiency working with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience working in CRM other reporting and project management tools.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or willing to obtain PMP.
