Position Overview

The Implementation Project Manager plays a critical leadership role in the successful deployment of PharmaForce’s Split Billing and Contract Pharmacy software solutions. This role is responsible for managing all phases of the implementation process—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

The Implementation Project Manager will serve as a key point of contact for hospital and pharmacy clients, fostering long-term partnerships while overseeing both the contractual and financial aspects of each engagement. This individual will maintain full ownership of project timelines, resource planning, risk management, and client satisfaction.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, proactive risk identification and mitigation, and the ability to keep internal stakeholders and clients aligned through clear, timely updates and solutions-oriented leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for complex, high-impact implementations involving PharmaForce’s software solutions, with a focus on strategic customers.
  • Develop and implement project management tools and best practices to drive standardization, visibility, and adoption across the division.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and revenue forecasts in alignment with workplans and contractual commitments.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and issues, facilitating resolution through timely and effective communication with both internal stakeholders and client leadership.
  • Gather and document business requirements and initiative definitions to support accurate planning and execution.
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for assigned implementations, ensuring accountability and alignment across functional teams.
  • Deliver clear and consistent communication on project status, changes in scope, and risk mitigation plans, while ensuring secure documentation of all project artifacts.
  • Prepare and deliver internal customer risk reviews, escalating concerns and opportunities for resolution as needed.
  • Analyze project data to identify process improvement opportunities and track key performance metrics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams across multiple departments and time zones to ensure coordinated project execution.
  • Leverage knowledge of hospital and pharmacy workflows to ensure practical, customer-centric implementations.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale, enterprise-level projects, ideally within healthcare, pharmacy, or technology sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional implementations from initiation through completion, delivering on time, scope, and budget.
  • Hands-on experience managing systems or software implementation projects, including coordination across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proficient with cloud-based project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, or similar).

Preferred

  • Direct experience with 340B contract pharmacy or split billing platforms is a strong plus.
  • PMP certification or similar project management credential is strongly preferred.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM and Smartsheet project management systems.
