Position Overview
The Implementation Analyst will support our team in Implementing our software for clients
by analyzing requirements, producing mapping documents, testing systems and
establishing interfaces with vendor partners. This role involves working with hospital and
pharmacy systems (EMR systems) and requires a deep understanding of encounter, eprescription, provider drug utilization, and datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and define EDI requirements for clients, particularly for the needs and
circumstances that are slightly unusual.
- Advise and educate clients concerning EDI guidelines and capabilities.
- Create, develop, and produce data mapping documents.
- Collaborate with programmers, data writers, and internal staff to develop and test
new or modified systems.
- Work with clients on test files, pulling and analyzing reports, and testing with
hospital IT resources and technical writers.
- Develop and maintain communication links with trading partners and oversee
integration of information.
- Periodically review systems to ensure client needs are met; identify possible
modifications as required.
- Remain current regarding EDI and internet field technological developments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with clients via video conferencing and through written
communications.
- Interact with IT resources and work through details with key stakeholder to resolve
data integrity issues.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience analyzing healthcare, pharmacy, or related
industry data
- Experience working with hospital and pharmacy systems (EMR systems).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- 340B experience, particularly understanding encounter, e-prescription, provider
drug utilization, and other hospital datasets.
- Experience with tools that facilitate data visualization and reporting, enhancing the
ability to present data insights effectively.
- Experience collaborating with technical writers and IT resources to test, document,
and refine system implementations.
