What You’ll Be Doing…

The Electron Data Interchange (EDI) Specialist is tasked with working with our customers to set up data transfers from their systems to PharmaForce. The EDI Specialist will be focused on integrating customer’s Healthcare Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, Retail Pharmacy Networks, and Pharmacy Wholesalers EDI, to our PharmaForce Platform.

Essential Duties:

  • Understand the needs of the business and create or modify data integrations in order to satisfy those requirements.
  • Analyze/define data requirements of clients and interchange partners.
  • Monitor, investigate, and resolve any system errors with new and existing interchanges.
  • Maintain documentation and mapping for existing data interchanges.
  • Solicit feedback from users and partners in order to promote accuracy and efficienc.
  • Work with internal IT team to ensure smooth operation and integration between internal and external systems.
  • Collaborate with internal staff on the development of new or modified system.

What You’ll Need To Have:

  • Must have 2+ years of Healthcare EDI experienc
  • Experience setting up SFTP interfaces
  • Data mapping experience
  • Strong communication skill
  • Like working with people and especially our customer


  • HL7 experience
  • Wholesaler EDI Setup Experience
